Everyone! Students, international students, graduate students, international graduate students… faculty, community members, anyone!

On-Campus Clinics

We run our own tax clinics on campus where you can simply ask questions or sit down with us and file your entire return on the spot and walk away with a huge weight off your shoulders. No appointments needed, just show up!

Who We Are

HoyaTaxa is a Georgetown University student organization dedicated to providing free, professional tax preparation services to DC-area residents who may not be able to afford paid tax help.

Our volunteers are trained and certified by the IRS through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, ensuring every return meets the highest accuracy standards.

Where We Serve

HoyaTaxa operates at a growing network of free tax preparation sites across the DMV area. We work from Georgetown's campus to community centers in Montgomery County, MD.

Each site is staffed by IRS-certified Georgetown student volunteers in partnership with Community Tax Aid, Montgomery County VITA, and the AARP Foundation.
