Hoya Taxa is a student volunteer organization that promotes financial literacy and assists lower-income D.C. families with their taxes.

Each year, club members are trained to receive IRS certification as volunteer tax preparers, then travel to clinics in the D.C. area to help clients file their tax returns. Hoya Taxa, which operates through the Center for Social Justice, is partnered with Community Tax Aid D.C., the non-profit that operates these tax clinics and offers free income tax preparation services.
